Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients
1¼ cups plain flour
½ cup sweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup butter
2 eggs
½ cup milk
¾ cup sugar.

Method
Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Add half the flour mixture to the creamed butter, add milk then combine remaining flour.
Spoon mixture into cupcake pan lined with paper cups until cups are ¾ full.
Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Decorate with buttercream frosting
