Making Pecan Pie

200g sugar [can be white, but brown will give a richer caramelization]
60g butter
1.5g salt
200g eggs
350g corn syrup [can substitute maple syrup or pancake syrup]
8g vanilla extract
142g pecans

blend butter, sugar and salt at low speed
add eggs
add syrup and vanilla and blend well
to assemble, sprikle pecans in shell, and then pour over syrup.
bake at 220C for 10 mins, then reduce heat and bake at 175C for 40-50 mins.
